Reservations Sales Agent

About the role

The Reservations Sales Agent is responsible for handling all reservation inquiries, changes, and cancellations for our hotel property in Doha. You will guide guests through the booking process, ensure accurate room allocation, and promote revenue‑maximizing sales techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and explain guarantee, rate, and cancellation policies.
• Document special requests, answer questions about facilities and services, and accommodate guests with disabilities.
• Enter accurate data into the reservation system, including special room types such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, and travel‑agent rates.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and adhere to all company policies and appearance standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and company information and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.
