Rigger – Full-Time Position in Qatar

About the role

The Rigger position is based in Qatar and involves operating and managing lifting equipment on construction and oil‑and‑gas projects. You will work full‑time on‑site, ensuring safe and efficient handling of loads using cranes, winches, hoists and rigging gear.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set up cranes, pulleys, winches and hoists.
• Assemble, install and inspect rigging gear such as cables, ropes and clamps.
• Prepare, secure and attach loads using slings, chains or ropes, and align equipment after placement.
• Conduct risk assessments and follow strict safety protocols during all lifting operations.
• Inspect rigging equipment before and after use and dismantle it properly after work.
• Maintain constant communication with the site manager, foreman and other team members.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma and solid English reading and writing skills.
• Minimum age of 25 years.
• 5‑10 years of proven experience in oil and gas lifting operations within GCC countries, supported by certificates.
• Broad expertise in the operation and application of lifting equipment and rigging gear.
