Rotating Equipment Engineer – Mechanical Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to support the engineering, procurement and commissioning of rotating machinery across the project lifecycle. The role involves delivering technical solutions that meet project requirements, budget and schedule while ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute rotating equipment engineering activities from feasibility through detailed design, procurement and commissioning.
• Develop technical requisitions, specifications, datasheets and material take‑offs for rotating equipment packages.
• Coordinate engineering interfaces with other disciplines, stakeholders and vendors, and participate in multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, perform technical bid assessments and support contract negotiations.
• Assist with expediting, inspection, testing and commissioning preparation, including inspection plans and equipment data.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives by capturing lessons learned and sharing best practices.

Required profile

• Mechanical engineering background with experience in rotating equipment or rotating machinery projects.
• Proven ability to work across project phases, from feasibility studies to detailed engineering and procurement.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, vendors and clients.
