Security & Safety Manager

About the role

The Security & Safety Manager will oversee the safe and secure operation of approximately 25,000 m² of travel retail space in Doha. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as the primary reference point for all security and safety matters, ensuring compliance with company standards while supporting cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations run smoothly and cost‑effectively while meeting all safety and security requirements.
• Serve as the expert reference for internal and external stakeholders on security matters.
• Monitor a large retail area, reviewing incidents with CCTV operators and participating in official stock takes.
• Guarantee that all shop staff adhere to company security regulations and that cash and stock transactions comply with established standards.
• Detect and respond promptly to any breaches of security procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong financial knowledge of cash handling, banking and budgeting.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in retail or warehouse environments within the Middle East, duty‑free, or international settings.
• Proven ability to delegate work, set clear direction, manage workflows and develop team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using retail‑specific IT systems.
