Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join Qatar Insurance Company’s Digital Hub. You will design, build and scale AI solutions—including large language models, computer‑vision and speech systems—that are embedded into our core insurance products and client‑facing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop LLM‑based chatbots, retrieval‑augmented generation pipelines and automated document processing.
• Implement computer‑vision solutions such as OCR for insurance documents, damage assessment from photos and identity verification.
• Create speech AI tools for transcription, voice analytics and multilingual support.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise AI models on cloud platforms and integrate them via APIs.
• Collaborate with product teams to embed AI services into business workflows and design user‑friendly AI‑powered experiences.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on AI/ML engineering experience, preferably in production environments.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience building APIs with FastAPI or Flask.
• Proven track record with LLM tools (OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Experience in computer‑vision (OpenCV, PIL, YOLO, Detectron2) and deep‑learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Solid knowledge of cloud AI services (AWS, Azure or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
