Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Qatar

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Senior Audit & Assurance professional to join its Qatar team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality audit services while building trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt audit scope and referral instructions, ensuring clear definition of audit focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centres of Excellence, coordinating tasks and providing accurate information.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and contribute to the overall audit quality framework.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions, distinguishing accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build trust with clients and understand their service expectations.
• Strong awareness of regulatory impact, risk management, and business processes.
• Proactive in understanding industry statistics and entity‑specific matters before engagements.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with global teams and stakeholders.
