Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake (Doha)

About the role

Capco is seeking a Senior Consultant Data Engineer with deep Snowflake expertise to join its Data & Analytics practice in Doha. You will design, build and optimise modern cloud‑native data platforms that enable advanced analytics, regulatory reporting and data‑driven decision‑making for leading financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and cloud‑native data platforms using Snowflake and modern data engineering technologies.
• Build robust ELT/ETL solutions integrating data from multiple enterprise sources while ensuring quality, security and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and cross‑functional delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimise Snowflake performance, cost management and data modelling to deliver efficient, high‑performing data platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Snowflake experience and proven delivery of enterprise‑scale data engineering solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and consulting skills, with experience in Agile delivery environments.

Required skills

• Snowflake (including Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streams & Tasks, Snowpipe, dbt).
• SQL and Python programming.
• Modern data engineering tools such as dbt, Apache Airflow and Kafka.
• Data warehousing, dimensional modelling, Iceberg open‑table formats and data governance principles.
