Senior Frontend Engineer (Core Business)

About the role

Snoonu, Qatar’s home‑grown Super App, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the user interface of its core business products. You will work closely with designers and backend teams to deliver responsive, high‑performance web applications that delight millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement web UI components using React.js and Material‑UI (or Ant Design).
• Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Develop new features and products, collaborating directly with designers and product managers.
• Maintain and evolve the frontend code base, ensuring reusability and performance.
• Address performance challenges, optimise load times and resource usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 + years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Deep understanding of React.js core principles.
• Experience with state‑management libraries such as Redux Toolkit or Recoil.
• Familiarity with data‑fetching tools like React Query.
• Knowledge of modern frontend build pipelines and performance optimisation techniques.
• Good communication skills for close collaboration with design and product teams.
