Senior IT Engineer – Enterprise Architecture

About the role

The Senior IT Engineer will lead the design, development and maintenance of enterprise architecture assets across the organisation. You will ensure that architecture standards, reference models and technology road‑maps align with business strategy and drive digital excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture principles, models, standards, guidelines and reference architectures.
• Analyse and define architecture patterns for system design and integration, and participate in architecture assessments.
• Operate the Architecture Review Board (ARB) – review requests, coordinate sessions, conduct compliance assessments and track decisions.
• Maintain the architecture repository and keep all EA artifacts up‑to‑date across domains.
• Research emerging technologies, create use‑cases and propose innovative solutions to support competitive advantage.
• Identify optimal technology investments by understanding current and future business strategies.
• Design solution road‑maps and architectural blueprints to ensure seamless integration of new solutions.
• Manage EA tools and update models reflecting changes in processes, data, applications and technology.
• Communicate architecture governance standards to stakeholders and ensure compliance.
• Produce guidance material for IT staff to foster continuous learning and support career development.

Required profile

• Minimum 9 years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience in Enterprise Architecture practices and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience in the energy sector is considered an asset.
