Senior IT Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Operations Specialist to oversee and support our organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity. The role ensures reliable, secure operations while driving continuous improvement of technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support IT infrastructure, networks, servers, endpoints, and related systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Active Directory environments.
• Handle endpoint devices, user accounts, access rights, and IT asset lifecycle.
• Support backup, recovery, data protection, and business continuity processes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and overall health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 2/Tier 3 technical issues.
• Assist cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding for IT resources.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and asset records.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, software providers, and hardware suppliers.
• Review licenses and services to identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Participate in internal IT projects, system upgrades, and digital workplace initiatives.
• Provide occasional after‑hours or weekend support for critical incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• 3–5 years in a senior, supervisory, or technical lead capacity.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, and endpoint management.
• Proven knowledge of Active Directory and hybrid AD environments.
• Experience with Veeam or comparable backup/recovery solutions.
• Practical experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and security.
• Background in information security, compliance, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support multiple business needs.
