Senior Legal Advisor – Qatar

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to provide expert guidance on Qatari laws and regulations, with a focus on the financial services sector. The role involves acting as a trusted legal partner to the organization and supporting business growth through strategic client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on Qatari laws, regulations, and corporate matters.
• Advise on financial services regulations, compliance requirements, and regulatory developments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Support licensing, regulatory approvals, and interactions with relevant authorities.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure the organization’s activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support clients and management on complex legal and commercial issues.
• Assist with business development activities by participating in client meetings and building professional relationships.

Required profile

• Law Degree (LLB or equivalent).
• 4+ years of legal experience in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar’s corporate, commercial, and financial services laws.
• Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and regulated entities.
