Senior Project Manager – USAF Engineering Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, design review and construction management for a USAF engineering contract at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar. The role supports the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program and oversees a team of project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive planning, design reviews, project and construction management for new construction, renovation and improvement projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of five Project Managers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain Installation Development Plan, District and Component plans in accordance with DAFI 32‑1015 and related guidance.
• Gather and document existing site conditions using the Comprehensive Planning Platform (CPP) and update datasets in the Installation GeoBase.
• Review project designs for constructability, safety, maintainability and impact on infrastructure, delivering factual feedback within agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate technical expertise across civil/structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines during design reviews.
• Monitor construction activities, perform quality assurance, manage RFIs and ensure adherence to specifications and regulations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project and construction management for military or government facilities.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Familiarity with USAF installation planning standards (DAFI 32‑1015) and related playbooks.
• Strong analytical skills to assess design documents and provide accurate feedback.
