Senior Reservoir Manager

About the role

Lead reservoir engineering evaluations for upstream oil and gas opportunities, providing technical expertise to support investment decisions, asset assessments, and business development. The role involves analysing exploration, appraisal, development and producing assets to optimise recovery and guide strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate upstream oil & gas assets including exploration, appraisal, development, and producing fields.
• Assess reservoir performance, recovery potential, and development feasibility.
• Conduct resource and reserves evaluations, production forecasting, and uncertainty assessments.
• Support field development planning, well placement, and production strategy decisions.
• Participate in technical due diligence for acquisitions, farm‑ins, and asset transactions.
• Evaluate producing assets and identify opportunities for production optimisation and enhanced recovery.
• Provide reservoir engineering input for portfolio screening, opportunity ranking, and investment recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the upstream oil & gas industry.
• Experience across exploration, appraisal, development, and producing assets.
• Strong background in reservoir performance analysis, reserves evaluation, and production forecasting.
• Experience in asset evaluation, reserves assessment, or technical due diligence.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams integrating geology, geophysics, and reservoir engineering.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry reservoir simulation and analysis software such as Eclipse, MBAL, OFM, Aries, or equivalent tools.
