Senior Specialist - Category Manager

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Category Manager will lead procurement and strategic sourcing for offshore marine projects, driving commercial value across high‑value tenders and long‑term contracts. The role requires deep expertise in vessel operations, maintenance and subsea services to optimise cost and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for offshore vessels, subsea intervention, cable laying and diving services.
• Lead complex tender processes, supplier negotiations, cost modelling and benchmarking to achieve cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define long‑term contracting frameworks and manage risk allocation.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of procurement, category management or commercial management experience, with at least 5 years in offshore marine, vessel maintenance or EPCIC projects.
• Proven track record delivering commercial value through high‑value tenders and strategic contracts.
• Strong knowledge of IMCA standards, marine maintenance practices and offshore project execution.
