Senior Transportation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer with extensive experience in highway, urban, railway, and traffic engineering to lead complex design and planning projects. The role involves delivering high‑quality engineering solutions for both urban and rural transportation networks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and detail typical roadways, pavements, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and drainage systems for urban street projects.
• Prepare plans, specifications, transportation planning studies, and bid documents for new construction and rehabilitation works.
• Conduct testing, evaluation, and design of pavement rehabilitation projects, including minor structures and right‑of‑way considerations.
• Support railway engineering initiatives, including preliminary investigations, design reviews, alignment selection, and utility conflict resolution for long‑distance and metro projects.
• Perform traffic studies, network‑level analyses, and traffic modeling for projects of varying scale.

Required profile

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Transportation Engineering (M.S. preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, and highway design.
• Professional Engineering license preferred.
• Proven ability to manage both urban and rural transportation projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems and software such as Trans CAD, Vissim, SUMO, and Invarion.
• Expertise in urban street design, pavement design, railway engineering, and traffic engineering.
• Experience preparing engineering plans, specifications, and bid documents.
