Shift Technician - Electrical

About the role

Join IHG’s hospitality team in Doha as a Shift Technician – Electrical, responsible for maintaining safe and reliable electrical systems across our Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn properties. You will work on a rotating shift, ensuring guest comfort and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all electrical installations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in equipment, wiring, panels and related components.
• Perform repairs, upgrades and installations in line with safety and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities and repairs.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies such as power failures.
• Coordinate with other maintenance teams and engineers to ensure efficient work execution.
• Adhere to local electrical codes, safety regulations and IHG safety procedures.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with solid communication skills.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
