SOC Level 2 (L2) Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SOC Level 2 Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center. In this role you will monitor, investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, helping to protect the organization’s digital assets and improve its security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs and events using SIEM platforms.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing threat analysis and incident correlation.
• Support containment, remediation and post‑incident reporting activities.
• Optimize SIEM use cases, correlation rules and alerting mechanisms.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT and other security teams to strengthen overall security controls.
• Mentor junior SOC analysts as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a SOC, cybersecurity or incident‑response environment.
• Strong knowledge of network security, operating systems and common cyber threats.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, CEH, Security+, SC‑200 or equivalent are preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM and EDR solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel (Azure Sentinel).
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001 and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Ability to perform threat detection, incident correlation and response.
