Storekeeper – Procurement & Quality Assurance

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, staging, and managing merchandise and supplies for the St. Regis Residence in Doha. This role ensures proper storage, rotation, and quality of all items while supporting the hotel's procurement and quality assurance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items for proper placement.
• Stack received goods on pallets or carts and deliver them to the appropriate department.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, and quality.
• Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items and adhere to food safety policies.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in proper storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training and certifications.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
