Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing materials are handled efficiently and accurately. This role supports the catering and F&B functions by maintaining proper stock levels, overseeing surplus inventory, and guaranteeing compliance with QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, deliveries, and stock coordination.
• Inspect incoming materials, reconcile them with purchase orders, and document any damages or discrepancies.
• Perform intra‑site and inter‑site deliveries of surplus office furniture and merchandise while keeping detailed delivery records.
• Assist buyers with supply requisitions, order adequate merchandise, and deliver items to the central purchasing department.
• Receive, store, tag, and track surplus property; prepare lists for consumption or disposal.
• Return cancelled or damaged items to vendors as required.
• Implement QHSE procedures, conduct regular inventories, and report incidents or unsafe acts.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse and storage operations, preferably in the catering/F&B sector.
• Secondary school education; experience in FMCG stores and cold‑store environments is a plus.
• Strong command of English (reading, writing, oral).

Required skills

• Computerized stock control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of ISO food standards or HACCP.
• English language proficiency.
