Supervisor - Accounting

About the role

The Supervisor – Accounting supports the finance team of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha by ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of invoices and payroll reports, and compliance with internal policies. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a prestigious hospitality environment while developing core accounting competencies.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and maintain organized financial files.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers, and computer systems.
• Prepare, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, and payroll reports.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue invoices, bills, and account statements.
• Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
• Coordinate tasks with other departments and act as a role model for quality standards.
• Report accidents or injuries promptly and uphold company policies and confidentiality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 12 months of related accounting or finance experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Professional appearance, clear communication, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
