Supplier Compliance Specialist

About the role

As a Supplier Compliance Specialist within Qatar Airways Catering Services, you will protect the quality and safety of the airline’s global supply chain. You will lead audits, verify regulatory and food‑safety standards, and support the Supplier Assurance Strategy to ensure suppliers meet the airline’s high expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct supplier risk assessments and compliance audits across the global supply chain.
• Validate certifications, food‑safety standards, halal compliance and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing and quality processes, including product sampling and AQL inspections.
• Identify under‑performing vendors and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and support due‑diligence cases.
• Assist in product recall processes and execute necessary tests.
• Produce annual Compliance & Quality Assurance reports and maintain audit documentation.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Development and Catering teams to embed compliance.
• Participate in vendor onboarding, briefings and technical evaluations.
• Provide analytical insights on supplier performance and risk indicators.
• Support implementation of food‑safety policies and environmental objectives.
• Assist with emergency response or major operational disruptions as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier compliance, audit or quality assurance, preferably in food‑service or aviation.
• Strong knowledge of food‑safety regulations, halal standards and relevant industry certifications.
• Ability to assess supplier risk and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
