Supply Chain Executive – Expediting & Procurement

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Supply Chain Executive to drive expediting and procurement activities for our Facility Management and Solar Installation projects in Doha, Qatar. The role ensures timely delivery of materials, resolves bottlenecks, and supports project milestones across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Expedite all open purchase orders, proactively resolving delays with suppliers and vendors across Qatar and the region.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules for FM and solar installation materials and equipment.
• Monitor and manage the end‑to‑end order lifecycle from PO issuance through delivery, inspection, and goods receipt.
• Liaise with procurement, project managers, FM operations, and finance to align supply‑chain activities with project milestones.
• Maintain accurate records of order status, supplier performance, and delivery commitments in the ERP/procurement management system.
• Identify and escalate critical supply‑chain risks and develop contingency plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with approved vendor lists, identifying alternative suppliers to improve cost efficiency.
• Support vendor qualification, RFQ preparation, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, local content requirements, and international trade regulations.
• Track and report KPIs such as on‑time delivery rates, cost savings, and supplier scorecards.
• Coordinate logistics and customs clearance for imported goods required for solar and FM projects.
• Participate in supplier audits and site visits to assess capacity, quality, and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field (mandatory).
• MBA in Supply Chain Management or equivalent postgraduate qualification (strongly preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, CPSM or equivalent (advantageous).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement or expediting roles.
• Demonstrated experience in the Facility Management sector, handling procurement of FM materials, spare parts, MEP equipment or maintenance services.
