Team Leader – Laundry (Hotel)

About the role

The Hotel’s Laundry Department is seeking a proactive Team Leader to support the efficient daily operation of its laundry services. Reporting to the Laundry Manager, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and guest satisfaction while aligning with Hyatt International’s brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the overall performance of the laundry department.
• Supervise and coach laundry staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of linens and garments.
• Monitor equipment performance, schedule routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.
• Control the use of chemicals and ensure proper fabric‑care procedures are followed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report any shortages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in laundry or housekeeping operations.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial laundry equipment.
• Handling of laundry chemicals and fabric‑care processes.
• Knowledge of fabric types and appropriate care methods.
