Technical Manager – ELV & Fire Alarm Systems

About the role

CESCO is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead ELV and Fire Alarm system engineering across complex construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar. The role combines design oversight, technical approvals, system integration, and commissioning support while ensuring compliance with local authorities and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design reviews, technical submittals, shop drawings, as‑built drawings and obtain technical approvals.
• Coordinate technical activities with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Oversee ELV systems engineering, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, structured cabling, data centre, audio‑visual, lighting control, parking management and related systems.
• Lead fire alarm and life‑safety system reviews, cause‑and‑effect matrices, calculations, layouts and authority approvals.
• Support testing and commissioning (FAT, SAT, demonstrations, hand‑over) and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations and international standards such as NFPA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications or related engineering discipline.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years focused on ELV and fire‑alarm engineering.
• Experience on large‑scale construction, infrastructure, healthcare, hospitality, airport, governmental, military, mixed‑use or data‑center projects.
• Preferably GCC experience and NFPA or PMP certification.
