Technical Office Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Office Manager to lead the Technical Office Department on major building construction projects in Qatar. The role will coordinate all engineering deliverables, act as the main liaison between the contractor, consultants, clients and internal teams, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, review, submission and approval of all engineering documentation.
• Manage multidisciplinary coordination across structural, architectural, civil and MEP disciplines.
• Lead the Technical Office team, monitor engineering KPIs and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate material and technical submittals, RFIs, technical queries and method statements.
• Maintain effective communication with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure all submissions meet project specifications, contract clauses and schedule milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering.
• 15+ years total experience in building construction, with at least 10 years in Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 main contractor environments.
• Minimum 5 years in a Technical Office Manager, Engineering Manager or Senior Technical Office Engineer role.
• Proven track record managing technical office teams on large‑scale building projects in Qatar or the GCC.
