Treasury Analyst

About the role

The Treasury Analyst will ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions across all major payment channels. This analytical position requires deep expertise in treasury operations, complex bank transaction management, and end‑to‑end financial reconciliation, with a focus on identifying and resolving exceptions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on reconciliations for cash, cheques, cards and bank transfers, covering bank, ledger, suspense, inter‑company and exception reconciliations.
• Investigate, resolve and clear reconciliation differences and breaks in a timely manner.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of payment types and end‑to‑end payment flows to ensure accurate matching and settlement.
• Communicate reconciliation results and financial insights to stakeholders at all levels.
• Coordinate directly with banking partners on settlements, queries and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with IT teams on system issues, automation initiatives and reporting requirements.
• Analyse transaction data to detect anomalies, identify root causes and recommend process improvements.
• Support internal control strengthening and accurate treasury reporting through thorough documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in treasury operations, complex bank transaction management and financial reconciliation.
• Previous work in banking, telecom or large corporate treasury/finance environments is preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proactive, independent problem‑solver capable of managing stakeholder relationships.
