Treasury Manager - Debt & Exposure Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to lead debt and exposure management for a client in Qatar. The role supports the Treasury Director and CFO in financing, risk mitigation, and balance‑sheet structuring, ensuring robust liquidity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage group banking relationships for debt and equity funding in line with policies.
• Assess and hedge financial risks including interest‑rate, foreign‑exchange, and credit risk.
• Coordinate lenders and legal counsel on LMA documentation for debt facilities.
• Monitor market, economic, and regulatory trends to anticipate financial impacts.
• Provide senior‑management support on risk assessments, investment strategies, and capital allocation.
• Assist with balance‑sheet capital structuring and leverage‑ratio analysis.
• Conduct covenant analysis and remediation for group debt.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a tier‑1 bank or corporation (GCC experience preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or economics.
• Professional qualification such as MBA, CFA, CMA, ACA or ACCA (mandatory).
• Proven expertise in financial risk management, capital‑structure optimisation, and debt/equity instruments (Sukuk, private placement, syndication, bonds, IPO, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for listed companies, including KYC and AML.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• ERP systems experience, preferably SAP.
• Financial risk management (interest‑rate, FX, credit).
