UX/UI Specialist (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The UX/UI Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. You will plan and design intuitive user interfaces, create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for both web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing, iterating designs based on feedback and data.
• Maintain visual consistency across platforms through design systems and guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into user‑centered designs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Applab’s design practices and support cross‑functional teams delivering high‑quality digital experiences.

Required profile

• Strong UX design skills, including persona development, user flows, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in UI, visual, and interaction design with a focus on responsive and accessible interfaces.
• Experience working with product, engineering, and business teams and presenting design decisions clearly.
• Familiarity with front‑end concepts such as HTML and CSS to ensure feasible designs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Robust portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end UX/UI work on complex digital products.
• Ability to work on‑site in Doha with strong communication and a collaborative mindset.
