Voice Network L2 Engineer – VoIP Specialist

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Voice Network L2 Engineer to join its Doha team. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, fault isolation, and service restoration for SIP, PRI, and VoIP environments, ensuring high‑quality voice communications for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform deep‑dive troubleshooting of SIP call failures, call drops, one‑way/no‑audio issues, and PRI/E1 link problems.
• Analyze SIP call flows, RTP media paths, and identify issues across core voice network, customer CPE/IP‑PBX, carrier interconnect, and back‑haul.
• Own P1/P2 incident resolution, drive restoration within MTTR targets, and lead major outage investigations.
• Provide detailed root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for recurring voice congestion and quality degradation.
• Validate and support voice routing changes, configuration updates, and implementation activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in voice network troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to trace call flows and interpret logs.
• Familiarity with carrier‑level signaling and network protocols.
