Waiter / Waitress – Luxury Hotel Dining

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our luxury hotel restaurant in Doha. The successful candidate will deliver personalized service that reflects the Chedi Hospitality brand and create memorable dining experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, take orders and serve food and beverages following established service sequences.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage service, including proper table setting, clearing and resetting.
• Promote menu items, upsell where appropriate, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Handle guest inquiries, comments and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
• Use the Micros POS system accurately for order entry, billing and cash handling.
• Collaborate with kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Tourism Management or related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Professional appearance, excellent grooming and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Micros or a similar POS system.
• Knowledge of service standards and restaurant operations.
