Accounting & Settlement Manager (Qatarization)

About the role

The Accounting & Settlement Manager will oversee daily settlement, processing and reconciliation of all bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance while delivering high‑quality service to internal and external customers. This position is part of QNB’s commitment to Qatarization and supports the bank’s operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Execute settlement, processing and reconciliation transactions for all accounts on a daily basis.
• Handle charge‑backs, card transaction disputes and related inquiries within defined time‑frames.
• Provide accurate data to auditors, compliance, financial control and risk teams as required.
• Maintain service level agreements with internal departments to improve turnaround times.
• Support branch teams and other units, answering queries and resolving problems promptly.
• Extract and analyse management information systems (MIS) reports for performance monitoring.
• Monitor and report any significant operational issues to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting, settlement or related banking operations.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, audit requirements and risk controls.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers.
