Accounts Receivable Accountant – Relocation to Syria

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will manage customer accounts, process invoices and receipts, and support timely collections. This position is based in Syria and includes relocation assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post customer invoices, receipts, credit and debit notes.
• Record and allocate customer payments accurately in the accounting system.
• Maintain customer account balances and perform regular reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and support collection activities.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Prepare aging and collection status reports.
• Perform AR ledger reconciliation with the general ledger.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Process account adjustments with proper approvals and documentation.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve customer issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivable processes.
• Experience using ERP or accounting software.
