Aircraft Mechanic – In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) Avionics Workshop

About the role

The Aircraft Mechanic – IFE (Avionics Shop) is responsible for maintaining and repairing in‑flight entertainment (IFE) components in accordance with Qatar Airways technical standards and regulatory requirements. You will work in a fast‑paced workshop environment, ensuring aircraft systems are ready for operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform IFE component maintenance, including soldering, wiring repairs, and connector servicing.
• Interpret technical data, QR standards, and approved procedures to complete tasks within set timeframes.
• Operate workshop tooling and equipment safely to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure all work complies with QCAA/EASA Part‑145 quality and safety standards.
• Document work performed and communicate any health‑safety issues to the team.

Required profile

• High school or vocational diploma with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Aircraft Maintenance Diploma/License or equivalent.
• Basic ICAO Type II license.
• Trade‑related certificates or OEM component training.
• One‑year practical experience in an IFE workshop or similar airline environment.
