Assistant Manager / Manager – Finance Consulting (Doha)

About the role

EY’s Finance practice, part of its broader consulting team, is expanding to help MENA organisations strengthen their financial functions. As an Assistant Manager or Manager you will partner with senior leaders to redesign finance operating models, improve processes and deliver actionable insights for clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Support leading organisations in transforming finance functions from transactional processing to strategic decision‑support.
• Design and implement finance operating models, process‑improvement initiatives and governance frameworks.
• Conduct public‑sector financial management activities such as spending reviews, revenue diversification and pricing of government services.
• Develop and enhance financial policies, procedures, controls and accounting‑cycle processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
• Perform benchmarking assessments and provide recommendations to boost financial performance and operational efficiency.
• Gather and document business and functional requirements and assist with finance transformation program delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, revenue and expenditure management, and performance reporting.
• Background in finance transformation programmes, operating‑model design and process improvement.
• Experience with public financial management, including spending reviews and cost allocation.
• Ability to develop financial policies, procedures and controls across the accounting cycle.
