Assistant Sales Manager – Hotel Sales

About the role

Frasers Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to support revenue growth for Fraser Suites Doha. You will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, handling key accounts, new business generation and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor local market competition and industry trends, providing actionable improvement suggestions.
• Relay customer complaints and comments promptly to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of major corporate clients, VIP guests, promotions, and room rates.
• Achieve and exceed revenue targets for assigned market segments.
• Conduct telemarketing and face‑to‑face sales calls to secure new accounts.
• Deliver presentations to travel agents and keep them informed of hotel updates.
• Organise familiarisation tours for potential clients and partners.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure all paperwork is completed before business is placed.
• Respond to customer requests within 24 hours, resolving issues professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Hotel Management or related field (preferred).
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Sales (advantageous).
• Proven experience in a hotel sales environment at managerial level within the GCC market.
• Responsibility for key accounts and new‑business generation in premium markets.
• Strong ability to lead presentations, negotiate and close deals.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic preferred.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects in a 24 x 7 hotel environment.
• Knowledge of hotel PMS (HIS, Opera) and other industry software is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
