Assistant Spa & Wellness Manager

About the role

The Assistant Spa & Wellness Manager supports the Spa & Wellness Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth daily operations of the spa and wellness facilities at Banana Island Resort Doha. This role combines guest‑focused service with team leadership in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Spa & Wellness Manager with daily administration and operational tasks.
• Ensure all treatments and wellness services meet the highest quality standards.
• Supervise therapists, receptionists, fitness and wellness staff, and other spa colleagues.
• Monitor appointments, treatment rooms, guest flow, cleanliness, and overall service delivery.
• Handle guest feedback, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of spa team members.
• Conduct regular briefings and communicate operational updates.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain compliance with hotel, spa, health, hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
• Oversee inventory of treatment products, amenities, and retail items.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and manpower planning.
• Contribute to achieving revenue, productivity, and profitability targets.
