Assistant Villa Operations Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Assistant Villa Operations Manager supports the Villa Operations Manager in delivering exceptional luxury experiences for guests staying in the resort’s private villas. This mid‑level position combines operational leadership, guest service excellence, and team supervision within a world‑class resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day‑to‑day operations of all private villas.
• Supervise Villa Hosts, schedule shifts and monitor performance.
• Coordinate villa check‑ins, check‑outs, housekeeping, and maintenance activities.
• Inspect villas before guest arrivals to ensure luxury standards are met.
• Handle VIP arrivals, guest preferences, and personalized services.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with resort SOPs, health, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations for seamless service.
• Monitor operational costs and support departmental budgeting.
• Maintain accurate guest history and preferences in the Opera property management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience in villa operations or luxury resort operations.
• Background in 5‑star hotels or luxury resorts, preferably with butler or villa host services.
• Strong leadership, communication and guest‑service abilities.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS (or similar hotel management system).
