Associate – Retail Recovery Control (Qatarization)

About the role

The Associate, Retail Recovery Control will support the collection process for a portfolio of delinquent retail customers at QNB. The main aim is to reduce the bank’s overdue credit exposure by applying loan restructuring, collection actions, and collateral asset sales while coordinating with customers, legal teams, police authorities, and external debt collection agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in collecting overdue personal loans, credit‑card payments, vehicle loans and mortgage loans.
• Implement the bank‑approved collection strategy to minimise losses.
• Analyse the Retail NPL portfolio to identify bucket‑wise trends and propose reduction strategies.
• Coordinate with the Retail Collection Unit, legal personnel, police authorities and external agencies.
• Monitor and supervise collection activities to ensure compliance with remedial strategies, procedures and guidelines.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and recommend implementation.

Required profile

• Experience in handling delinquent retail loan portfolios or credit‑risk collections.
• Ability to work closely with internal units and external agencies.
• Strong analytical mindset to assess portfolio trends.
