Banquet Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Banquet Operations Manager to lead the planning and execution of banquet events at our Doha venue. The role ensures the highest level of service, drives customer satisfaction, and maximizes revenue throughout the event lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all banquet operations, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and beverage cost management.
• Set up function rooms according to Banquet Event Orders and conduct pre‑event inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Lead and schedule banquet staff, conduct monthly meetings with captains, and maintain attendance and sanitation standards.
• Project supply needs, order china, glass, silverware, buffet presentations and other service equipment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, attend daily stand‑up, BEO, pre‑con and forecasting meetings, and actively participate in event service.
• Monitor financial and administrative responsibilities, including asset protection and revenue tracking.
• Gather guest feedback, address complaints, and promote a culture of exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in event management, food & beverage, or a related hospitality field.
