Barista

About the role

The Barista delivers exceptional coffee, beverage, and guest service experiences within the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. You will prepare and present high‑quality coffee, tea, specialty drinks and other menu items while maintaining the hotel’s standards for cleanliness, food safety and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso‑based beverages, teas, specialty drinks and other beverages according to approved recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, beverage preparation and basic latte art.
• Customize beverages to guest preferences while ensuring consistency in taste, temperature, portioning and presentation.
• Welcome guests warmly, take orders accurately, provide recommendations and handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally.
• Enter orders and process payments using the hotel’s POS system, handling cash, card transactions, room charges and vouchers in line with procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic workstation; clean and sanitize equipment and service areas according to food‑safety regulations.
