Bell Captain – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As a Bell Captain you will lead the bell and valet teams at a luxury hotel, ensuring every guest arrival and departure is handled with warmth and efficiency. You will create memorable experiences by overseeing luggage handling, guest assistance, and daily operations of the bell desk.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, escort and assist arriving and departing guests, transport luggage and introduce them to rooms and amenities.
• Organize, store and retrieve guest luggage according to hotel standards.
• Supervise daily team operations, including scheduling, training, coaching and performance management.
• Provide regular updates to the team on hotel offerings, services and local attractions.
• Maintain bell carts, communication devices and related equipment in good working order.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience in guest services, bell desk or concierge operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with a guest‑focused approach.
• Ability to manage high guest volumes, special requests and challenging situations professionally.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Transportation coordination expertise.
