Business Credit Office Manager

About the role

HSBC’s Credit & Capital Management Services is establishing a Business Credit Office (BCO) to centralise first‑line credit risk activities. The BCO Manager will act as the primary credit advisory partner for Relationship Managers, overseeing credit analysis, client reviews and the end‑to‑end Credit & Lending servicing journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BCO tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs and KPIs.
• Own the full Credit & Lending servicing process, ensuring efficiency for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct client outreach, financial and credit analysis, and support renewal activities.
• Participate in deal discussions, negotiate credit terms and documentation, and act as the First Line of Defense.
• Drive continuous improvement, adopt technology solutions and contribute to a globally consistent operating model.

Required profile

• Strong risk assessment and management capabilities with a focus on credit quality.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across business and risk teams.
• Excellent execution and implementation skills, with a customer‑service orientation.
• Experience in credit advisory or lending within a corporate banking environment.
