Café Manager – Artisan Café & Bakery

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to lead a premium artisan café and bakery in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring operational excellence across all front‑of‑house activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the café and bakery, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop the front‑of‑house team to provide outstanding customer service.
• Manage staff scheduling, labour costs, and overall operational efficiency.
• Monitor sales performance, implement revenue‑growth strategies, and control inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships.
• Control food and beverage costs, minimize wastage, and manage P&L responsibilities.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Baker and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily service.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and local food safety regulations.
• Support seasonal menu launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Store Manager.
• Previous experience in an artisan café, specialty coffee shop, premium bakery, or upscale casual dining concept.
• Strong understanding of specialty coffee and artisan bakery products.
• Excellent leadership, people‑management, and coaching abilities.
• Proven experience managing budgets, P&L, inventory, and cost control.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
