Clinical Informatics Specialist (Senior)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist (Senior Specialist) to join a national eHealth programme. The role focuses on improving clinical practice and patient‑care workflows by translating clinical needs into safe, standards‑aligned digital‑health solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current and future clinical workflows and design digital solutions across EMR/EHR, LIS, pharmacy, radiology/RIS‑PACS and CPOE systems.
• Support adoption, testing (UAT, regression, conformance) and optimisation of clinical‑system implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or paramedical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years in clinical‑informatics or health‑system roles, including at least 3 years of supervisory responsibility.

Required skills

• Clinical workflow mapping and optimisation.
• Creation of clinical requirements, BRS/BRD/FRS and user stories.
• Clinical safety content, order sets, documentation and decision‑support design.
• Testing strategy, UAT, regression, conformance and defect triage.
• Training, super‑user models and change‑support for clinical adoption.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR, LIS, pharmacy, radiology, HIE and e‑prescribing systems.
