Cloud Security Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Security Consultant to join our Cybersecurity Practice. The role focuses on designing, implementing and operating security controls across Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid environments to protect client data and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assess Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid environments, identify security gaps and produce remediation reports aligned with Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark, CIS and NIST.
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Cloud, Office 365, Identity) and Microsoft Purview for data governance, DLP, information protection and insider risk management.
• Define and maintain cloud security governance frameworks using Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud compliance features and Purview governance capabilities.
• Implement conditional access, identity and access management with Microsoft Entra ID, and design detection rules in Microsoft Sentinel.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents and support response actions to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of cloud resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience securing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as CIS, NIST and regional regulatory requirements.
• Ability to produce clear assessment reports and actionable remediation guidance.
