Commercial Manager - Payments & SME Business

About the role

As Commercial Manager – Payments & SME Business you will drive revenue growth and customer acquisition across Ooredoo Fintech’s multi‑market ecosystem. You will own the development of B2B Payments, SME Financial Services, Wage Protection System (WPS) and Merchant Acquiring, working closely with country teams to launch revenue‑generating initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow B2B and SME revenue across all active markets.
• Identify high‑fit SME segments for digital financial services and create market‑specific commercial playbooks.
• Design and negotiate commercial models, fee structures and bundling strategies for SME payment acceptance, wallet solutions and business accounts.
• Lead onboarding discussions with SME partners, merchant aggregators and B2B clients, supporting country teams in closing agreements.
• Monitor acquisition funnels, activation rates and revenue contribution, implementing interventions to improve conversion and retention.
• Own commercial development of the WPS business line, building scalable propositions and bank partnerships tailored to local labour regulations.
• Support country teams in acquiring WPS clients, providing commercial frameworks, pitch materials and negotiation support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial development within payments or fintech environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, using data and market intelligence to identify opportunities and shape pricing strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and partnership management skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation and collaborate with cross‑functional country teams.
