Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead the Sales & Marketing function to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability and market expansion while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s sales and marketing strategy, set annual business plans, budgets, targets and KPIs.
• Lead trade and project sales teams, monitor performance, pipeline, forecasting and pricing strategies.
• Drive marketing initiatives, campaigns, exhibitions and build strategic partnerships with suppliers, distributors and key stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensure high satisfaction, and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Estimation, Procurement, Finance, Operations) to ensure timely delivery and inventory optimisation.
• Control financial aspects including credit approvals, receivables, cash flow and profit margins.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales and marketing team, set KPIs and manage performance.
• Lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives, develop SOPs and ensure compliance with governance and ethical practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience in sales, marketing or related fields.
• Proven experience in the Qatar market, especially with traders, MEP contractors and main contractors.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and Urdu language skills are a plus.
• Strong strategic leadership, commercial acumen and ability to drive team performance.
