Commis I – Pan-Asian Cuisine (Full-time)

About the role

Join the mosaic team at Banyan Tree Doha, an urban retreat in Mushaireb offering luxury hospitality with stunning sea and city views. The hotel blends Eastern and Western hospitality in a timeless elegant setting. As a Commis I you will support the kitchen team in delivering Pan‑Asian cuisine to discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Creates and presents dishes according to cooking instructions and supervisor guidance.
• Adapts work to fluctuations in activity level, special events, and guest requirements.
• Assists with receiving deliveries and tidies food items following storage guidelines.
• Supports the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily operations.
• Works according to menu specifications set by the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie.
• Controls food stock and monitors food cost within the section.
• Ensures equipment used remains in good condition.

Required profile

• Vocational diploma in food & beverage studies or a motivated candidate with validated skills and motivation.
• Minimum of 3 years of cuisine experience, preferably in a luxury resort setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative.
• Preferably experience in an Italian restaurant.
