Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Construction Manager to lead construction projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists; hire full‑time and part‑time subcontractors and laborers and coordinate their schedules.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.
• Provide directions to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor planned activities sequentially and manage all activities from start to finish.
• Attend project meetings and engage with current and potential clients for business development.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
• Monitor the production schedule to ensure on‑time project completion.
• Coordinate projects with the factory, sites, and clients.
• Provide leadership and guidance whenever required.
• Review daily work progress and prepare internal and external job status reports.
• Educate the team as needed and attend trainings and awareness sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in Civil Engineering, preferably with an architectural background.
• At least 3 years of related work experience in construction or fit‑out projects.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Proficiency with construction management software packages.
• Ability to plan, see the big picture, and manage conflict and crisis situations.
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
