About the role

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) seeks a dynamic Dean to lead its College of General Education. Reporting to the Vice President, Academics, the Dean will shape and execute the strategic vision for the college, ensuring high‑quality teaching, research, and community service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with UDST’s overall objectives.
• Oversee the performance of the college’s academic programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty, administrative staff, and external stakeholders to foster an environment of excellence.
• Lead the creation and execution of the college’s business plan, policies, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with global academic standards and accreditation frameworks.
• Promote applied research projects and community‑service activities.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum ten (10) years of full‑time academic experience at an internationally recognized university.
• Full Professor rank with a proven record of leadership in applied research.
• Experience working within culturally diverse environments.
• Strong understanding of global academic standards and accreditation processes.
